Online clerical work (Mac user) updating websites for music lessons (Kits/Dunbar (work from home too))

Wanted: a very organized, intelligent, and flexible assistant, who can work from home on a Mac computer. This will involve some detailed entering of content into various websites. If you are smart, and motivated, you can be trained in the programs quite easily. It is a bonus if you are already familiar with using iMovie, and if you have been a student of music lessons during your lifetime (although these are not required to be eligible for this job). You should have access to high-speed internet, because much of this work will involve using online sites.

I am interested in finding somebody who works efficiently, uses good judgment, and has a proven track record of working well with a variety of different clerical tasks. If you like learning new things, are flexible, and yet are capable of being meticulous with your work, I look forward to hearing from you. Please send your resume, along with a cover letter that outlines any relevant experience you may have.

This project is to create some fabulous online video music lessons. Tasks will include simple video editing, uploading videos and text to a webpage (which is actually just cutting and pasting content), and working within several online services to help create the final product. We will need to meet in person to set things up, and then much of the work can be done from your own home. My selection process will be to screen resumes with cover letters, conduct a phone interview, and then invite likely candidates to work for a couple of hours with me to discover if we enjoy working together. This project length is open-ended. There are tasks required now for a particular project, but there are many opportunities to continue working on various other projects after this.
  • Location: Kits/Dunbar (work from home too)
  • Compensation: $12 - $15/hour - to be negotiated
  • This is a part-time job.
  • Principals only. Recruiters, please don't contact this job poster.
  • Please, no phone calls about this job!
  • Please do not contact job poster about other services, products or commercial interests.
