Telemedicine allows eye doctors (ophthalmologists and optometrists), to screen, diagnose, and treat patients remotely using cloud-based software. If you are motivated by working in healthcare technology, have strong oral and written communication skills, are very familiar with computers, are interested in the comforts of working from home, and are excited by having a pivotal role in an early-stage business with excellent career growth opportunities, this may be the position for you! Responsibilities: - General administrative responsibilities (typing, emails, paperwork, bookkeeping) - Processing patient chart information on the computer using a web-based platform - Contacting physician offices to arrange for appointments and referrals. - Developing marketing programs, patient brochures, newsletters - Speaking with physicians on the phone, telling them about telemedicine Qualifications / Skills Required - Required: Must be willing to adapt to constantly changing responsibilities - Required: Access at home to a fast computer with high-speed internet access - Required: Strong proficiency with computers – email, typing, and spreadsheets. - Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English) - Required: Interest in working completely from home, self-motivated Benefits: Work from home, or anywhere in the world Position Details This is a full-time position.
