umtree Australia - Community support agent - Overnight position

Classified Marketplace is looking for a dynamic, community-focused
individual to join our Customer Support team.
You'll be joining a fun little group based in Toronto, supporting our Community of users in Australia on a full time basis. Due to the time zones our user Community lives in we need to provide an overnight coverage (midnight to 8am).
This is a work from home position; therefore working at Gumtree requires trust, initiative and an ability to work independently.
Here is a brief description of the role you would be performing:
- Review reported classified ads daily to ensure they meet with established posting policies.
- Champion community needs to the Gumtree Australian team.
Qualities we are looking for in you:
- Strong community and customer service focus. Demonstrated high level of courtesy and friendliness
- Outgoing and fun.
- Good head on your shoulders with the ability to make quick decisions.
- Investigative mind
- The ability to maintain composure and a friendly, positive attitude under pressure
- The ability to work independently and to demonstrate initiative
- Positive attitude, the ability to work well with others, and the ability to meet and overcome challenges
- Detail oriented. Able to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Kijiji / Gumtree; experience with buying or selling
- Familiarity with Web-based technology
Requirements for this role:
- University or College Diploma
- Ability to work overnight shifts (midnight-8am)
- Full fluency in written and spoken English
Compensation: $16.50/hr for 3 months, $17/hr after 3 months + 10% premium for night work, paid lunch time, 40 hours per week, technology bonus of $50 per month to cover Internet access, 5% performance bonus, partial health and dental benefit cover and opportunities for career growth.
