Stylist/Blogger/Personal Assistant for Pro Photographer (Vancouver, Sunshine Coast)

Hi there,

I'm a professional Australian-Canadian Photographer looking for someone who has a range of skills and who is quick to learn.
There are 2 parts to this casual job:

1. (75% of job) Personal assistant / Admin Assistant / Research / Blogging - ALL FROM HOME.
- Organizing images and pre-written text into a wordpress blog. Need to know basic photoshop and wordpress skills
- Assisting with research tasks, data entry, admin work
- Small amounts of running errands and minor tasks
- Potential to be designing wedding albums if the skills are there and handling print orders.

2. (25% of job) Photographic Assistant on weddings / PA / Stylist / general help
- Working alongside me on shoots, helping and assisting, swapping lenses, loading film etc.
- Basic quirky cute 'VINTAGE CHIC' styling of brides dress, rings, groom's gear/etc - quick and simple.
- Organize people for group shots and making people feel loved and awesome
- Help with location scouting and setting the scene
- Being a friendly loud voice when needed.

Work schedule is a bit random, so would suit someone who has time to work from home, and can assist on weekends with enough notice.
Sunshine Coast based preferred, but Vancouver is ok (you'll just have to travel a bit, we can work out expense details later).

YOU ARE:

- in a nutshell: awesomely fun FEMALE, bubbly, helpful, selfless, hard working, easy going, styling loving rad person.
- Artistic and interested in product styling, weddings, making things look pretty.... more than becoming a pro photographer.
- Over 21
- warm and welcoming character, with experience dealing with the public on a service level (retail, food, etc)
- willing to put the job and the client first, always.
- use your intuition to know when to take control and when to take the back seat and be a fly on the wall.
- willing to shout out to a group and arrange/order people without being bossy.
- Hold a valid Full car License
- non-smoker
- keen to learn as much as you want about photography, weddings, styling, meeting cool people and being part of awesome projects.
