Savvy Social Media Marketer (Vancouver)
We're looking for a savvy social media marketer to help us manage our accounts.
This position is home-based with weekly meetings required, either on-site or via Skype. We are looking for someone with experience in managing social media accounts over a range of industries and knows how to engage audiences, build connections, and nurture relationships. The successful applicant will be working to develop, launch, grow, and maintain client social media profiles.
*Managing Twitter accounts
*Research content for marketing and strategic purposes
*Writing blog posts
*Writing status updates for Twitter and Facebook
*Track and deliver monthly statistics using Google Analytics, Facebook insights, and other platforms to measure growth
Qualifications
*Proficiency in using applications like Hootsuite, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Google+, and LinkedIn
*Basic design skills using programs like Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop
*Experience with WordPress
*Savvy marketer with a flair to create conversation and attract attention via social media
*Fluent in English
*Excellent written and oral communication skills
*Passion for creating interesting web content that will capture people's attention
*Creative, self-motivated, able to take initiative and work well individually
*Outstanding organizational skills, with keen attention to detail
*Positive attitude, high energy, and an eagerness to learn
*Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
