                                          Hourly – 3 to 6 months - 10-30 hrs/week  
 
 
We are looking to hire a part-time sales representative that can cater to clients based in Japan. This is a home based position so candidates must have high-speed internet access and a computer. Candidates will be expected to work between the hours of 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST.

Requirements:

• Postsecondary education or equivalent
• Minimum one year sales experience, minimum 2 years customer service experience
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese
• Experience with windows based computer systems and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (2007 or higher)
• High speed internet connection and a personal computer
• A high level of energy, confidence, self-motivation, and initiative
• The ability to develop and maintain a steady pipeline of new prospects through a combination of cold calls and various lead generation methods
• Capable of managing a territory while possessing a sound understanding of the sales process, client follow up, and customer service
• Strong team player and continual drive to succeed

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with potential customers by phone to request orders and quote prices to persuade them to buy client products/services.
• Providing warm sales to existing customers.
• Explain services and special promotions to customers.
• Complete appropriate paperwork and record necessary customer sale information.
• Document status of all calls indicating leads generated or leads which could not be pursued due to either disconnected phone number or lack of interest.
• Responsible for resolving customer disputes/complaints as the may rise.
• Cold calling
• Customer service and follow up
• Respond to phone/email inquiries
• Developing and implementing marketing programs
• Other duties as assigned
